FAQs

How much space does this squat rack occupy when folded?

Designed specifically for space efficiency, the GOIMU WM3-V4 occupies only 4.3 sq. ft. when folded and 12.3 sq. ft. when fully expanded, making it perfect for garages or apartments.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

Built with 14-gauge alloy steel and a 2"x2" steel frame, this rack supports a massive maximum tension/weight of 2,000 lbs, ensuring professional-grade stability.

What is the pulley system ratio?

It features a 1:1 dual independent pulley system. This means the weight you load is the actual resistance you feel, providing a true-to-weight training experience without interference between the left and right sides.

What functional modes does it support?

The rack supports 5 configurable modes: Folded Mode, Semi-Open Mode, Half Rack Mode, Functional Trainer Mode, and Cable Crossover Mode.

How many exercises can be performed with this equipment?

With the integrated lat pulldown station, pull-up bar, and adjustable pulleys, it supports over 80 exercises, including squats, bench presses, cable flies, and pull-ups.

Are the pulley heights adjustable?

Yes. It offers 15 adjustable pulley height levels with an intuitive single-hand adjustment mechanism, allowing for seamless transitions between different movements.

Any requirements for installing on the wall?

The wall needs to be sturdy enough to support the weight of the powerrack and the user. Concrete or brick walls are ideal. Using stringer boards is important when mounting a folding squat rack to 2x4s behind drywall. It provides additional support and stability.

Is it easy to install, and how is it shipped?

The product is shipped in two separate boxes. It comes with a detailed instruction manual. We recommend a two-person assembly to ensure the wall-mounting is secure and safe.

Great product. Not difficult to assembly though I wish that the instructions was easier but I was able to figure it out. So far I enjoy it

I have always wanted my very own home gym and Goimu Fitness made it possible. Sturdy, affordable and functional is what I wanted. This fold-away rack is versatile, space saving and gives me so many exercise options without having to pay big gym membership fees. This thing has a wonderfully smooth cable system and nice weight capacity. The amount of adjustments you can do is amazing for what you actually pay. I am completely satisfied and will be adding more Goimu equipment to my home gym. Thank you Goimu Fitness for making a distant dream into a reality for me!

Perfect For the Price

Intentionally waited to write a review for this. My wife & I have used this rack pretty religiously the past 7 months, & for the price you seriously can’t beat it. I’m 6’3, 200lbs and lift more than the average person. From every workout I’ve done - this rack has held up pretty damn good! Obviously there is going to be things that aren’t perfect, the cables broke on me early on (just the rubber fell off) - but the supplier sent me replacements free of charge. The J hooks it comes with aren’t the best, but I bought better ones for $20 bucks. The pull up bar is skinny, I had to tighten the hell out of it doesn’t move - but hey it works & has held up! Definitely worth the money if you want a really good option without breaking the bank. The Landmine attachment has been an absolute game changer and has been pretty durable as well. All around super functional rack and I cancelled my gym membership because I can do everything I want with it!

Great quality for the price

You’re definitely not going to be training for a power lifting comp with this but it’s great for a casual home workout. Limited range of motion on the cables. Don’t plan on doing anything overhead from the lowest cable setting. For the price it’s much better quality than I expected. Love that it fits both 2” plates and smaller plates. My old set up has the small plate holes and I don’t have to waste them all when the bumper plates get here.

Great overall

Pretty sturdy equipment and great for its price. I bought it before it went on sale but the seller price matched and refunded me the difference which is great. It also arrived 2 days after ordering. Overall great equipment and great for saving space.

Would recommend

Size: In a standard 2 car garage, we can fit two cars and this set up, even when it is fully open. So size is great.

Price: benefit is good as it seems pretty sturdy. Pulleys are decent. Must have equal weight on both sides to have a smooth pulley that is true to the weight.

Garage is in a slant, but the adjustable feet work nicely for that.

Set up time- 2 people to set up took us about 7 hours total - but we did have to drill into cement.

The picture of the instructions shows a step we think may be incorrect where the pull is reversed and ends up on the inside of the rack, but we would prefer it be on the outside.

We have used for about a month and no complaints so far.

Legit Gym Set up

If you have common sense and know how to put parts together, it’s almost too easy to make sense. I put it together give or take 2 hours and was using it the next day.

Pulleys glide, J-hooks and safety spotter arms are sturdy, literally a freaking pop up gym dream. And it was an added bonus that it came with a land mine attachment. Super stoked to be able to have this piece of equipment in my little barn yard gym set up.

Only issue I had was FedEx didn’t want to deliver it the first two days it was supposedly out for delivery but it eventually came that third day.

Great package deal!

Great deal! I’ve had much more expensive set ups in my younger says, like “Rogue,” etc. This by far is the best package price I’ve ever seen. It’s a space saver, so you’re not really going to be able to beat on it too hard, at least that’s my first impression. But for a garage gym this setup hits the mark. My only gripe in the bench feels a little too “light” and small. But I can pick up another bench later down the road. And I highly recommend you buy a weight tree from amazon for the weights. They DO smell like rubber, so be prepared as the smell wears off for a week or two. I found a weight tree for $70 and it’s pretty durable. If you like pull-ups, you might want a different setup as this one does spin a little if not tight, and it WILL come loose if you use it. I’d say it’s mostly for support than pull-ups. My son goes to the Citadel and he and his friends have already used they gym for some workouts. No complaints.

Excellent rack for the price

Overall, this is a great rack, especially if you are looking for something affordable, foldable and including a cable system. It's not perfect, but everywhere it falls short is only a small drawback, and doesn't make it less of a value for the price.

Assembly: The instructions are not great, but if you take your time with it it is not hard. You will definitely want a second set of hands to help. Go slow and double-check everything and it will be just fine. Since I was installing on a wall with studs and drywall, I bought 2x6s (cut to 5 feet) to mount to the studs. I chose not to install the backplate so I would have that space for storage. NOTE: The included mounting material will not work for installing through wood. You will need to get lag screws if you are not installing into a concrete wall.

Cable System: It is very good. The weight horns run fairly smoothly on the guide rod, even more smoothly with about $5 worth of silicone grease. I will notice a little extra resistance if the weight is not evenly distributed on the horns (ex - a 25lb plate on one horn and a 10lb on the other) but not to the point of it affecting the movement. If you are a taller person, there are some exercises you may have to modify due to the 1:1 cable system (such as cable lateral raises). But small modifications make them work.

The rack: The rear section of the rack is solid. Like REALLY solid. The part of the rack that swings open and shut is stable enough. There is some very slight side to side give when fully opened, even with the feet all the way down, but that would be expected in a pin-locked system. And the give is very slight. It doesn't harm the cable system nor does it make the cage any less safe. I have used the rack for squats, presses, and other lifts. I have loaded 225 lbs on both the j-hooks and the safety arms without any sign of strain and I feel confident it can go much higher.

I have now put this through 5 heavy training sessions and it has delivered on all 5. Zero complaints. There are quite a few spots where I could point out that this could be better, but nothing that I have pointed to and thought it was poorly done or unsafe. Besides, at sub $400, I've gotten way more out of this rack than that money probably deserves.

Great for Home Gym

This is an honest review. I spent almost 6 hours to assemble this but after that I was so happy I will not go to the gym. My son and ai love it. I cancelled my gym membership. Not going to wake up very early in the morning just to go to the gym. All exercises that I used to do in the gym is now right here at home. Just need to add more weights..

Honest Performance Review

I give the WM3‑V4 Folding Squat Rack 5 stars. I love it. It is solid and feels safe when I rack weight. It saves a lot of space, which is why I bought it. The folding system is smooth once you get the hang of it and makes it easy to open when I’m lifting and close when I need the room.

The dual pulley system is better than I expected. The five adjustable modes let me do most cable and functional trainer exercises I need. The pulleys glide smooth and don’t stick. It is not full commercial grade, but for a home gym it is more than enough and feels strong.

Assembly was quick and easy. Once bolted to the wall, it feels solid and doesn’t move.

Overall, this rack covers squats, bench, pull‑ups, and cable work in one setup without taking over my garage. For the money, space savings, and quality, I couldn’t ask for more.

Compact Home Workout Rack

Picked this up for my home workouts. The space-saving design’s a win, though I had to adjust the stabilizer feet a bit. Decent for the price. Love it!
