FAQs

Will the pulleys accommodate both Standard and Olympic weight plates?

Yes! The WM1 features a versatile weight carriage equipped with a detachable 2-inch sleeve. This allows you to use 1” Standard plates for lighter accessory work or 2” Olympic plates for heavy strength training without needing to buy additional adapters.

Can I perform seated rows and lat pulldowns with this specific model?

Absolutely. One of the standout features of the WM1 is the integrated removable footplate. When combined with the 17 adjustable height positions, you can set the pulley to the lowest setting and use the textured, anti-slip footboard to perform heavy seated rows with perfect form and stability.

What is the maximum weight capacity and tension ratio of the machine?

The GOIMU WM1 is rated for a maximum load of 300 lbs.

How stable is the wall-mount design compared to freestanding cable towers?

The WM1 is engineered with reinforced 14-gauge industrial steel brackets that bolt directly into your wall studs. Unlike freestanding units that can "walk" or wobble during explosive movements, our wall-mounted system provides a rock-solid, anti-sway foundation, allowing for smooth, commercial-grade resistance even during heavy high-to-low crossovers.

Overall not bad. Quality is decent. Plastic pulleys, kinda soft metal. Just don’t over tighten anything, clean and lube the pulleys with dry silicone spray every once in a while, and don’t max out the weight for it. You should be good. Got this for my gf so she can do kick backs. It’s a 1x1 pulley with both cables connected. Assembly was easy and takes less than 2 hours.

Absolute solid unit it replaced a 400 dollar unit that was attached to my rack that in 4 yrs and 10 cans of lube have never made it smooth, this unit is smooth from top to bottom, and has met and exceeded all expectations, thank you for providing a solid unit us working class can afford, I look forward to buying the hack squat and leg press next once this unit is paid off,

A Slim Gym! Great Space Saving Cable Station!

Very happy with this purchase! Excellent quality for the price with good selection of attachments. I call it the "Slim Gym!"

Assembly instructions were very clear and easy to follow. (note: there is a page dedicated to cable routing so when you get to that stage of assembly, go to the NEXT page where it has a nice closeup showing how to route all the cables through the pulleys. I didn't do that and it took me longer to figure it out from the diagram on the previous page).

I just finished my first workout and the pulley movement was smooth in every direction. The steel gauge is good enough thickness for the price. I don't think this machine would be suitable for a heavy lifter, and definitely not commercial use, but for a person like myself who is looking for a quick, full body resistance workout- it's great.

I bought the carabiners, mats and plates shown in the photo from another vendor on Amazon.

Great Machine

For 4 years now I have been signing up for the gym in the winter months. This year the local gym is $50 a month. I would love to go but for the price I could just build myself a gym in the basement. I already owned a treadmill and elliptical but my favorite piece of equipment at the gym is the cable tower. This one was in my price range and had decent reviews so I tried it.

Pros:
Works good. Very functional and easy to use.
Looks great. The color variation is very eye catching. Makes me excited to work out.
Much cheaper then most other options.

Cons:
Putting it together was a bit challenging. Dont get me wrong, follow the directions and its not to bad. However; putting the cables on was complicated to say the least.

Over all I have been loving it. My 5 year old nephew also LOVES to "get muscled" using it when he comes over.

Very surprised with the quality..

The sturdiness of the build surprised me. I’ve only used it for a few days, but so far so good. I had no idea you could get a fully functioning cable machine for this price, let alone one that doesn’t feel cheap and low quality. Highly recommend it for someone that already has the essential equipment, but just looking for extra versatility added into their workouts.

Good addition to our home gym

This was a purchase for our small home gym. It was very easy to assemble. I read many of the reviews for this and similar products. I watched one review video where the individual changed out the pulleys for aluminum ones. I ordered those at the same time so I could install them during assembly. Great idea. The plastic ones were ok, but I think these are better.

The equipment performs as described and satisfies all of my fitness needs. I would have liked it if the top and bottom holes on the sliding pole were useable. But this doesn’t overall affect my review. The cables work well under weight in either single or double use. I would have liked the foot rests to be extended by about 4”-6” for seated rows, I have to use a few wood blocks to help extend the cable for the reach during the exercise.
Overall this is a great addition to our home gym. I recommend it.

Great value

Easy to assemble and great value for the price. Just take your time bolting it to the wall and running the cables. I would highly recommend using a socket wrench and a wrench to assemble for speed and ease while assembling.

Better than expected.

This is a pretty amazing, sturdy piece of equipment worth every penny. Assembly was surprisingly easy with each step in the instructions matched to its own clearly labeled package of screws, washers and nuts. Took me about 2 hours to assemble. Smooth motion but I'm sure it's going to be even better when I replace plastic to aluminum pulleys. Have a great day.

Happy so far!!

Update: Now have used it several times and very happy with purchase.

Instructions to assemble were clear. Like how hardware was separated by step as it made it much easier. When I first took out all parts I was overwhelmed, but grabbed a socket set and got to work and it was together in about an hour. Moving smoothly and not jerky at all (still have to mount to wall so really have not used it) but overall happy with the quality, the ease of assembly, and the size. Perfect for my small basement workout area. Arrived quickly via FedEx. For under $200 it felt like a good value.

Multi function in one machine

I can do so much with this one, different back pulls, lower chest, triceps push down etc. It is very compact, doesn’t take lots of space, so it is perfect for my home fitness room. Because it is compact, to make it stable, I need to anchor it to the wall stud. The installation manual is easy to read. I am not handy, but with in total 30 minutes I was able to fully assemble. It comes with some basic tools but a ratchet will be super helpful! When assembled, I put all pulley wheels without wiring through, so don’t make the same mistake as I did. Overall very happy with it, for the price and the functionalities, and the compact, and defiantly worth the price.

Glad I did it!

Great detailed instructions. Just remember to put the cables in before you tighten up the wheel thingys… pretty solid set up so far. Really impressed in the product for the price.
